DOUX cares deeply about the ways in which products are developed. The well being of our buyers and producers, as well as the well being of the animals, is of great importance to us. The production process is designed to generate a minimal amount of waste and to recycle residues whenever this is possible. European certifications guarantee that DOUX only uses down and feathers obtained in an animal friendly way. Furthermore, our products are suitable for people suffering from house dust mite allergy.




The DIN CERTCO certification guarantees that feathers and down in DOUX products are not from live-plucked ducks and geese.



The Traumpass label ensures premium quality of down and feathers used for our bedding.

Certified quality - Traumpass products are subjected to strict quality controls under the supervision of internationally recognized certification body DIN CERTCO.

Not from live animals - the Traumpass label and ensures that the down and feathers used for the filling are not gathered from live animals.

Top quality in accordance with DIN EN 12934 - DIN EN 12934 is the European standard for the classification of products filled with down and feathers. Products with the label Traumpass contain only materials that meet the highest quality levels.



The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 is a worldwide consistent, independent testing and certification system all kinds of textile products. Öko-Tex standard 100 tests bed linen for substances that may be harmful to your health and could cause allergic reactions.



The NOMITE certificate signifies that our products are suitable for people who suffer from house dust mite allergy. Because down- and feather-filled products offer excellent thermal and climatic conditions for humans, they provide a very poor habitat for house dust mites, which rely on high humidity to live. The ‘Glückliche Gänse Warranty’ guarantees that the feathers and down of DOUX products comes from geese that are bred in natural conditions and do not come from bio industry. The animals are kept and fed humanely and not plucked alive.
